Served as Festival Stage Manager for the 2024 Junior Arts Festival, a student-led initiative where Grade 11 and 12 students wrote and directed original pieces while Grade 9 and 10 students performed. The role involved overseeing multiple productions within a single festival structure, coordinating rehearsals, tech, and performance schedules while ensuring smooth transitions between each piece. Managing a wide range of experience levels required strong leadership, adaptability, and clear communication to keep the festival running efficiently.
Working closely with student directors, performers, and staff, the position focused on creating a supportive and organized environment while maintaining consistency across all productions. This experience strengthened skills in large-scale coordination, time management, and problem-solving, while reinforcing the importance of stage management in unifying multiple creative teams into one cohesive event.
