Served as Lighting Designer for Sincerely, Sam, a production exploring the lived experiences of transgender youth. The lighting design aimed to support the emotional journey of the characters, using a dynamic range of colour, intensity, and timing to reflect shifts in identity, vulnerability, and self-expression.

Through close collaboration with the director and creative team, the design balanced intimate, character-driven moments with more stylized sequences, enhancing both realism and symbolic storytelling. The result was a lighting environment that not only illuminated the stage but also contributed meaningfully to the narrative, reinforcing the show’s themes of authenticity, resilience, and belonging.
